Starting from the hollow of Malga Ciapéla and following a white mule track into a fir forest we arrive at the Malga Ombretta, a traditional alpine mountain pasture, where ricotta and cheese retain the flavour of times gone by. We are accompanied for the entire hike by the most important and impressive wall of the Dolomites.
The wall of the south Marmolada! Tens of marmots will whistle when we are at 2100 m of the Falier Refuge. In a world that looks majestic and severe, we will continue upwards until we are under the enormous wall at 2,700 altitude, set deep amongst immersed in splendid scenery.
