Marmolada… the highest peak of the Dolomites, at its 3342 m it dominates the adjacent valleys! It is accessed by means of the Brand New Cableway, right from Malga Ciapéla, just a few paces from Hotel Roy.
GSki fans can enjoy the countless and magnificent downhill slopes; including one slope known as "La Bellunese", one of the longest slopes in Europe that drops from Marmolada to Malga Ciapéla: winding for around 12 kilometres, starting from 3,300 metre altitude, to reach a height of 1,500 metres.
Hotel Roy is also a prized position for access to the Sella Ronda, an inimitable route on the skis across four Passes: Campolongo, Sella, Gardena and Pordoi.
Access is gained with the Brand New Cableway, right from Malga Ciapéla, that can be reached with skis from Hotel Roy. |
